Let's hear about your local polyclinic plans

For several weeks now, PCTs have been slipping out details of their polyclinics plans, and GPs have been forwarding them straight through to us.

For several weeks now, PCTs have been slipping out details of their polyclinics plans, and GPs have been forwarding them straight through to us.

It's been fantastically useful for our campaign to have hard information about the locations of the planned clinics and a record of the opposition to them – and we thought the detailed information might be useful for GPs too.

We've decided to set up a database, which we'll launch on the site in the next few days, to set out exactly what is happening across the country and what people think about it.

So far there's about 30 or 40 PCTs on the database, although a lot of the information is still fairly sketchy. Which is where readers come in.

If you post details of plans in your area, we'll make sure the details go up on the database. That way, you'll be able to see how what your PCT is doing compares with elsewhere.

And let us know your views in the comment box below.
