Londoners 'fatigued' at polyclinic talks

Londoners are suffering consultation ‘fatigue' over plans to set up polyclinics, NHS bosses claimed this week.

The Healthcare for London consultation, which closes next month, has been criticised for failing to reflect the concerns of the capital's GPs.

But Ruth Carnell, chief executive of NHS London, said: ‘One of the frustrations that has been expressed is when are you going to get on with the implementation, because meanwhile people are still dying unnecessarily of strokes and suffering disability unnecessarily.'
