'Lustre of my new LIFT practice has worn off'

Plans by GPs at two surgeries in Frodsham, Cheshire, to move into a new state-of-the-art building are under threat after public outcry over their chosen site.

The GPs from the Rock Surgery and the Knoll Surgery want to move out of their cramped premises in a move backed by Cheshire West PCT and the local council.

A playing field owned by Frodsham Town Council was the preferred option for the development, but residents have protested. A petition has called for the GPs to consider other sites because of worries over traffic and parking.
