Navigation, registration and other changes to the site

We've made a few subtle changes to the site in the past few weeks which hopefully will make it easier for you to find the stories and resources you're after.

We've made a few subtle changes to the site in the past few weeks which hopefully will make it easier for you to find the stories and resources you're after.

The main change is to the left hand navigation area, which is now split into two distinct sections.

At the top is the main article type content - Peverley, Copperfield, Ask the Expert etc... you're used to seeing from Pulse.

In the bottom section are the resources we've got on the site. That includes the ever-expanding number of clinical and business related downloads to help GPs and practice staff, our travel vaccination charts and latest NHS and non-NHS fees information.

Another thing you might have noticed - particularly if you get the print edition of Pulse each week - is that the travel prize competition and holiday offers are now online only.

You can also request The Practitioner, Practical Commissioning and Pulse via each title's respective websites.

Finally, if you're not registered with the site you'll have noticed that more sections of content now require registration. As time goes by, the amount of registered user-only content is likely to increase so it's worthwhile spending a minute to go through the registration process.

As we continue to grow the site, it'll net you more and more benefits in terms of the amount of content that's available.

Hopefully all of these changes make life easier for you. If they don't, let us know and give us some ideas on what else you think we should be doing.
