NHS England has announced all CCGs that will be taking on full responsibility for commissioning primary care from April and those jointly commissioning GP services with local area teams. See if your CCG will be taking greater responsibility with our map

Key

  • Level 1 (yellow) - CCGs will collaborate more closely with their area teams on primary care services, but they will not assume more responsibilities through this model.
  • Level 2 (green) - CCGs assuming joint commissioning responsibilities with their area team
  • Level 3 (pink) - Delegated commissioning, CCGs assuming full responsibility for commissioning primary care service

  • Shame our retired GPs who work in Dorset CCG did not get us more say with the growth in consultant numbers and nurse practitioners in hospitals
