Who are the most inspirational GPs? Only one day left to nominate them
It’s that time of year again when Pulse starts preparing its list of the most influential GPs in the UK. And we need your help.
Each year we invite our readers to nominate the GPs who they believe have the most influence on general practice, nationally and locally.
Whether it be someone who is able to influence Government strategy, provide a voice on behalf of the profession or is simply a powerful leader within general practice, we’re asking you to submit up to five nominations for our Power 50 list.
We also want you to nominate two GPs under the age of 40, who could be influential on general practice in the future for our Rising Stars list, and a colleague who you believe is influential on your local community and deserves to be a Local GP hero.
It takes just a few minutes and we look at all the information from you to decide our final list of names, so get nominating here and let us know why your nominated GPs deserve some wider recognition.

i know he is not a GP but Dr. Johann Malawana is a real leader. Together with the JDC they have done more for grassroots GPs than the usual suspects of GP 'leaders' have done in years.
The JDC is standing up for doctors something that the RCGP and GPC can learn from.
I would nominate all the junior doctors !
Now go ahead and list the usual suspects who are mostly complicit for the current mess we are in.

You've got to be joking if you think Johann Malawana is any kind of leader. He is a good example of exactly how not to lead. He has single-handedly cost the juniors their contracts, alienated his whole committee in terms of decision making and loves the sound of his own voice. Do not suggest he is deserving of any kind of praise.
