No comfort zone here

Your headline read 'Singlehanded GPs give more unnecessary prescriptions' (February 10). There are more singlehanders in the inner cities, where patients are less able to afford to buy OTC medicines.

There are also more singlehanders in rural areas where pharmacies are not accessible, and where large numbers of temporary residents add to costs. These questions don't arise much for the comfortable GPs in suburban group practices.
