No place to find a Fifer

Your report 'GMC to inform PCOs on all GP complaints' (May 17) puts Balfron as being in Fife. Surely Balfron is in Stirlingshire?

Fife always has been a kingdom in its own right and there is a saying up here: 'You sup with a Fifer with a lang spoon.'
