Over-75 checks deadline missed

More than two-thirds of practices have still not met the April 2002 Government deadline to introduce regular medication review for over-75s.

Paul Burstow, Lib Dem health spokesman, said a reply to his parliamentary question revealed 6,208 out of 8,748 practices missed the NSF for older people milestone for six-monthly review in patients on four or more medications and annual review for all others.
