Partnership is the aim

From Dr Clarissa Fabre

Medical Women's Federation

We have highlighted the discrepancy in pay, especially since the introduction of the new contract. Even accepting that non-principals have less responsibility, the pay gap is unacceptable.

We have always said there is a place for salaried doctors.

However, a profit-sharing partnership, which gives one control, as well as a better income for virtually the same work, should be the ultimate aim.
