Patients' on-call confusion

More than a third of GPs ­ 36 per cent ­ believe patients will be even more confused about what to do out-of-hours under the new contract.

Research by the charity Developing Patient Partnerships revealed that 91 per cent of GPs said some patients used out-of-hours services inappropriately, but 83 per cent of patients claimed they knew what do to when their surgery was closed.
