PBC Vision Awards winners announced

The winners of the PBC Vision Awards and the Williams Medical Supplies Practice Manager of the Year Award 2009 have been announced at the National Association of Primary Care annual conference in Birmingham.

The winners of the PBC Vision Awards and the Williams Medical Supplies Practice Manager of the Year Award 2009 have been announced at the National Association of Primary Care annual conference in Birmingham.

The winners in each category were:

  • Best Service Redesign - Respiratory: North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust - Community Respiratory Assessment and Management Service
  • Best Service Redesign - Cardiovascular Disease: Colchester PBC Group, for the PulseBeat scheme
  • Best Service Redesign - Dermatology: Keyworth Medical Practice in Nottingham, part of Principia
  • Best Integrated Care Model: Nene Commissioning Community Interest Company, in Northampton
  • Improving Services for Patients: Somerset Community COPD service
  • Most Advanced PBC Group: Nene Commissioning Community Interest Company, in Northampton

The national winner of the Williams Medical Supplies Practice Manager of the Year Award 2009 was named as Wendy Collett, from the Colchester PBC Group in Tiptree, Essex.

Isobel Chetwood, Philippa White, Wendy Collett, Lynne Lloyd and Linda Bradley were named as regional winners.
