the emperor has no clothes - the vast majority of GPs are not engaged. All that has happened is that those on the clinical executive of the pct or with other offices in the pct have become the boards of the CCGs.

If CCGs will now only be commissioning 60% instead of the original 80% of services, does this mean that some arreas have been rremoved, or that 20% of budget has been removed and reassigned to nationally/regionally commissioned services?
And while we're at it, what is the marginal cost of commissioning yet another service - or not - over the basic services?
*when will CCGs get useful information on what they are supposed to be doing and the resources they will have available to do it?*
