At the heart of general practice since 1960

Polyclinics will harm the most vulnerable

If you object to polyclinics, to having 30 to 50 GPs sited 1.5km away from their population, please visit our petition website and pass on the web link petitions.pm.gov.uk/polyclinics/ to others.

I feel that localising hospital care, which is rarely used, and centralising general practice, which is accessed far more often, will put the most vulnerable elements of society at risk. The journey will be hardest for the frail elderly and those with small children. For myself as a GP, it poses few problems - until I'm old or ill.

From Dr Paul Salomon, Southgate, north London
