Providing fair access to end of life care for LGBT patients

The NHS National End of Life Care programme has produced a guide to offering fair and equal end of life care to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender patients. The guide offers information on how to help gay patients and their partners and families receive the same quality of care as other patients. It also includes advice on talking to partners of gay patients and involving them in treatment, and offers case studies on best practice.
