RCGP move to temporary premises

By Neha Pathak

The RCGP has temporarily relocated to new London headquarters whilst awaiting a permanent move to a brand new state-of-the-art facility.

Staff from the college's three previous London offices will now be based in the centrally located Bow Churchyard, close to St. Paul's Cathedral.

The shared building offers high-quality modern office space, with the RCGP occupying three floors, one of which is reserved for meeting rooms. The move does not affect CSA and iMAP assessments which will continue to be held in Croydon.

The permanent headquarters is currently being developed in Euston Square in central London, and will offer RCGP members a range of modern facilities, including a 300-seater auditorium, a conference centre, private study spaces and a clinical skills assessment centre.

The long-awaited move to a single central site is intended to facilitate efficient communication with a reduction in paper use and is expected to be completed by the end of 2012.
