NHS 111 redirecting 'frequent fliers' back to GPs

So apparently "What this amounts to is a license for those who can’t be bothered to make an appointment and get down to the surgery to jump the queue ahead of those who do." If calling 111 4 times is an easier route for the patient to get an appointment than calling the surgery once, then the surgery has questions to answer. I suppose GPs would rather these 'awkward' patients just turned up at A&E instead.
