NHS 111 redirecting 'frequent fliers' back to GPs

People continue to undervalue the input of quality GPs. Doctors are the only people willing to make sensible decisions without the backup of a computer telling them they are correct. No managers, software engineers, nurses or other health professionals are willing or allowed to make those decisions (very good nurse practitioners are the exception). Trying to do things on the cheap just wastes money. Previously patients/ family members used to make those decisions but now they think that every symptom needs to be reported as an emergency. Huge increases in consultations despite small increases in patient numbers will end the NHS.
