Porter: RCGP must 'acknowledge there is a problem' in exam row

Shurlee Harding : These doctors with "strong accents" and who "speak fast and rambles" are deemed fit to practice by the GMC by way of PLAB. Which is Professional and Linguistic assessment board exam. Their "accents" and "rambles" are assessed thoroughly in the linguistic component. So might I suggest you write to the GMC and raise your concerns about the PLAB exam as to why it has allowed those doctors "with strong rambling accents" fit to practice.
