Life as a GP in Nova Scotia is so much better

Begs the question. Why, when we do 10 - 12 hour days, see 35 to 45 patients a day, at a take home pay of £3-£4.50 per consultation, we are so vilified by all ? But, I do remember coming off a 80 hour weekend with 3 hours sleep in total, a major newspaper article on how the BMA looked after its own, at the expense of the public. I don't think the public realise at all the service and commitment that the NHS has its motto.
