GPC rejects new contractual obligation to follow-up NHS 111 patients


Well said Peter Holden. Fine for NHS111 to tell our patients to contact our surgeries. From then on, our responsibility to make the right choice which could vary from phone advice to a face to face appointment or even a blue light ambulance. Bur OUR responsibility to treat appropriately, not a lay call handler with 2 weeks training and a computer to tell us our job.
