Baker: 20,000 more GPs and practice staff needed for seven-day working

There is no need for 7 day working. A decent co-op system used to work. It's falling over due to 111, A+E shortages and closures, patient expectation, dis-investment aimed to privatise the NHS placing the blame on GPs. If we give in and start working 7/7 the government will gloat about how they knew it was GPs fault and they got us working 7/7 and the red tops can bleat about how much 'extra' we're being paid whilst us partners burn out and cover god knows how much more for not a lot more. Line in the sand for me!
