NHS IT leaders consider limiting parents' access to online records


re 10.36am - it's not an attack on the family at all. It's all about the problem that if you suspect that a child might just be being abused (but as yet you have no real evidence) how do you put something about it on the medical record without alerting the parent in the process (if they have access to the child's medical record)?
