BMA criticises decision to cut GP trainee pay

GP registrar | 10 January 2015 11:53am i think there is some truth in what you are saying but not all trainers are bad. My trainers were great but I know some colleagues who did have a bad time. They need to have a look at the whole process and make it more consistent and fairer but I agree it has become a every man for themselves scenario and it appears there is a rush to provide the lowest cost of care. This agenda is being pushed by the RCGP and their supporters - calling for physician assistants and all salaried posts but reluctant to make the current exam fairer. Yep there is definitely an agenda going on.
