CQC will put 'inadequate' GP practices immediately into special measures

Interesting internet 'app' on the Website of a Midlands newspaper - really very simple and rather clever. The 'app' ranks every GP practice in Britain in order of the 'aggregate score' in six key questions in the National GP Patient Survey. Practices can be identified by post code and are compared with other local practices. For those of us who were puzzled by CQC's very odd 'intelligent screening tool' it is interesting to note that Steve Field's own practice - when assessed on this simple to understand measure - is rated pretty poorly at number 5,988 out of the almost 8,000 GP practices in England, (Bellevue Medical Centre - post code B5 7LX) "Let him that is without sin cast the first stone."
