Should patients be allowed to self-refer for cancer tests?


Yes, that way hospitals , the media, cancer specialists, cancer charities, lobby groups can stop blaming GPS for crappy uk figures on cancer. It's tick box anyway and majority of people are intelligent enough to tick their own boxes anyway. Actually the saving made on the monitoring of referrals , cancer networks, advertising, public health rubbish beuracracy , Ae admissions etc would pay for itself
