Average GP appointment waiting times to hit two weeks by next year

I'm not sure the Govt is completely to blame - just look at the way some partners practice - bringing in people back for unnecessary review appointments , encouraging people to be seen again with problems that mainly relate to social circumstances for which GPs have no cure and the complete inability of some to say 'no' to giving out benzos and other addictive drugs and to be critical of patients when they are clearly wasting GP time for fear of a complaint! Yes the govt has creating unrealistic expectations but some colleagues seem rather happy to mollycuddle patients in return for being the GP that is 'liked'
