The Public will get the NHS they are prepared to pay for [through taxation]. They voted for lower taxes. We have the perfect storm of increasing expectations [fuelled by this low tax government and all preceeding governments,] reduced funding and increased workload - balanced beautifully by a shortage of GPs prepared to be abused and so are so are now retiring, locuming [rightly on their terms] or emigrating. We will be missed when it is gone - but we will still get the blame - not the politicians, the wanters [rather than needers] or the media. Hell in a hand cart - nearly there - its just over the horizon.
