Co-payments to encourage self-care for minor illness or least visiting a pharmacy before a doctor. Co-payments to boost funding for the NHS. Co-payments might make GPs feel a bit more valued. Higher fees for working people, lower fees for unemployed, pensioners etc: 2-3 pounds would at least encourage people to buy a box of paracetamol first!
