Should GPs shop around for indemnity?

"Profit making firms" indeed. MDU has net assets, after all provisions, of £200 million, and MPS has £1.2 BILLION as “Funds available for members”. If you call them membership organisations/not for profit/mutuals then what this means is that they have taken so much money from members in the past that they have no use for it and it's sitting in a massive pile on their balance sheets. In essence, this fat pile belongs to members, but will never be distributed to them. So explain to me again how a profit making firm with shareholders is different from this two horse cartel!
