Junior doctors to be balloted on industrial action

I am sorry, but these people have zero credibility these days. If there wasn't money to be saved, why bother changing? I'll bet my right nut this doesn't turn out well. Twelve ST2 GP trainees in a room with me yesterday; 8 plan to emigrate, 2 retraining (Psychiatry and occupational medicine), one married to a consultant surgeon planning "perpetual pregnancy" and one, just one, said "I will probably locum for a few years till things settle down" (he is a 44 yr old former pharmacist who retrained). I think I'll give up this trainer thing, it's hard to deal with the withering realism of these sadly defeated people.
