GP indemnity fees spiral out of control with 26% rise last year

What can we learn from this story? Withdrawal of labour leads to action. GP's turned down work and suddenly the DoH found 2 million quid. If we all refused to pay indemnity they would have to pay it for us. It is a seller's market. We have the power. We just need the determination to seize it and make our lives better. Until GP's are released from the shackles of their contract they cannot make the sort of mass protests that would achieve some sort of fairness and equity. We must liberate ourselves from these constraints. Ditch the contract comrades.
