Minister casts doubt on whether Government can fulfil 5,000 new GP pledge

Comment

After the dramatic turn of events in the weekend, the credibility of this government , Cameron/Osbourne regime , is evaporating rapidly. There was an argument that any figures drawn and used by the party around the general election can no longer be trusted , hence applied. ‘To be honest, there is a risk whether we will be able to get that number of people into general practice. However, without that kind of workforce commitment it will be difficult to deliver our ambitions.’ Hence , logically ,the ambition of the mythical seven days NHS will not happen if this government carries on the way it has been treating us. And the way it goes , this government is on its way to become a 'lame-duck'. People are calling for the head of the Chancellor, the Health Secretary is virtually non-existing . Count the number of U-turns (including PIP today) so far. 'Crisis . What crisis ?' We may have ours but Lord Vader , you definitely have yours.........
