Risk tool could help GPs pick up thousands more with hypertension

sounds good to me-especially because I've looked at the tool and absolutely none of it requires a GP/nurse/access to previous medical records as far as I can see-a self -check bp /weight/height machine -as we have in a room in our surgery-plus the patient themselves or someone on their behalf can fill in the tool and hand it all over to their gp if it suggests needs abp monitoring.working out how to stop the more obsessively worried well from doing it repeatedly and getting less motivated people to do it at all can also be done without our involvement and by someone cheaper to the nhs.will be interested to see if it takes off but no gps in our practice will have time to do it
