'Paying GPs less will not increase numbers'

"more of the NHS money being spent in primary practice" - but not in GENERAL PRACTICE, it will all be tied up in some hospital trust bail out or in social care and leave those pesky GPs to rot. "but let’s be clear - we want GPs to do more, not less." - surely a slight misquote of what Jeremy actually told him to say "we want GPs to do more, for less". How exactly can we do more without buckets of NEW EXTRA cash and tens of thousands more GPs?
