'No seven-day access' for GPs on watered-down voluntary contract

It's quite simply really. Most patients don't want it. There's no money for it. And no one wants to be a GP is office hours let alone on Sunday afternoon. It was ill thought out by a government who is no longer in power and not in touch with healthcare or social care. I can see an argument for Saturday morning surgeries and that's it.
