I work half the week in Wales and half the week in England. I am pleased to tell you that Wales is much more committed to supporting quality, improving services and clinical innovation. We don't spend all day in Wales talking about service cuts: we seem to be talking about improvements in clinical outcomes and new, pragmatic pathways rather than chopping out things we can get away with, hoping the public doesn't notice.
