Why GPs should be able to charge for non-NHS treatments

its mad. We should be treating patients in the best way we are able and then the payment should be from government if they cover it or from patient for ininsured services as happens elsewhere in the world. The government should not be dictating how we treat out patients. If they refuse to pay for certain things that's fine but to say you cant do it if were not paying is overstepping the mark.
