Government 'in denial' about GP workforce crisis, warns former minister


"...likely continued cost of the scheme will between £500,000 and £1m per hospital, each year" I thought the whole point of the scheme was to be self-funding by reducing a&e work - if it isn't self funding, what is it meant to be acheiving?
