DH says it cannot guarantee that state-backed GP indemnity will slash costs

"My opinion is that it’s part of the governments push to force all GPs to become salaried and at that stage crown indemnity will be brought in as the carrot" Tony is spot on. Consecutive governments have hated the ICS. NHSE hates ICS. Even GPs working for CCGs hate ICS as they have gone over to the dark side. They all hate partners because they fear what a well, led profession of independent contract holders can achieve. They can turn their back on the NHS, just like the dentists. But no chance of that now. We are led by many who prefer the survival of the NHS over the survival of general practice and newly qualified GPs see the car crash and run a million miles from partnership (usually to Australia) The way we will all go salaried is when large corporations wave that indemnity carrot in front of our noses and it will be the choice between becoming salaried and paying 20K per year indemnity. It's all part of the master plan to control us and it's working because we are all glued to the NHS
