GP leaders fly out to tempt medical students studying in Bulgaria back to UK

Why is our country completely incapable of addressing the appalling working conditions of the Drs already working here? Money is thrown at schemes to tempt poor unsuspecting foreign nationals and now unsuspecting Brits who couldnt get into a UK medical school, to come and work here. I am a UK trained GP. I am currently working as a GP but I have handed in my notice and will leave the work force in January. The role is simply dangerous. I have 20 years ahead of me before I would have retired. Why not try and persuade people like me to stay? It’s almost a form of institutionalised insanity. What has the government got against its own people that it treats its home trained Drs with such utter contempt? There seems no answer to this.. the dye is cast, the future has been written. UK Drs have been marked for extinction. Our own country thinks so little of its Drs that it almost seems to take pleasure in sucking the life out of them and then throwing them down the drain. And like an evil monster it goes abroad looking for the desperate, the naive and the innocent as more fuel to burn in the NHS staffing boilers. I curse the banal evil of those staffing the UK NHS
