Primary care weight loss schemes 'reversed half of Type 2 diabetes cases'

Caloric restriction will result in the loss of fat free mass. Not combining exercise with this at the outset is a problem as the change in basal metabolic rate will inevitably lead to weight gain. Same results with biggest loser USA. Yes the 4 year f/u is important but they should be followed up for longer. Interesting study though.
