New aesthetic regulations are good news for GPs

Hello scottish gp. I hear what you are saying, however some doctors choose to do non traditional coalface gp part of their time. It keeps them sane and allows them to get much needed income. Plastic surgeons as hospital specialists are best placed for complex burns scars requiring grafts etc. many aesthetic procedures are outpatient based and can be comfortably done in a general practice setting when done privately. The same argument also applies to minor surgery from the surgeons, or joint injections from the orthopaedics team. - anonymous salaried!
