‘We are sorry for the impact the Bawa-Garba case has had on the profession’

It's worrying how little insight those at the top of the regulatory food chain have into the damage they are doing. Massey talks about 'misunderstandings about the case' yet the GMC seems to have almost no understanding of basic ethics and the difference between right and wrong. The NHS has been on its knees for years now and the GMC have sided with the government against doctors and patients. It's all very well saying 'the system made me do it' but blindly following legal process doesn't produce the best outcome for anyone and has hugely damaged the international reputation of UK medicine. He is incapable of seeing the bigger picture and should resign.
