GP ‘recommendation prescriptions’ could save NHS ‘millions’, say pharma leads


I think there is no harm in advising patients to buy OTC and in the future they would know they needn’t see GP for minor problems. About who wants to pay or their eligibility is a different issues altogether. Education to pts is very important. Hence we see Skype consultations in NHS to reduce burden on GPs. What’s the fuss about?
