Adjusting to widowhood – and GP life back in the UK

This is one of the most moving articles I have ever read. I have now closed my door, taken my phone off the hook and decided to have a break for 30 minutes. I find like pretty intolerable at the moment and can identify strongly with Richard's decision. The pressure on us is great and escape is often impossible. That sense of feeling totally trapped with no hope of escape is very demoralising. I wish you well and assure you that you are not alone.
