Revealed: GP representation on CCGs being eroded

What's the use of having them anyway as all they do, at least in my area, is create an exceptional hub of twice the size to get Rurality payments though a Practice with 10000 patients can't be rural surely; and cornering as much funding as possible for their Practices. Or you have this sweaty CCG member sitting in a locality meeting with one foot on the chair and ostentatiously the reason is she is a biker and has a right to preside over a meeting just because she belongs to the CCG elite. No regrets the number of GPs are reducing - pity not in my area.
