GP quality of care declined after QOF incentives were removed, study claims


Perhaps a victory for common sense and excercising a degree of professionalism, we know ‘gold standard’ tratment of diabetes and hypertension in the elderly is associated with adverse outcomes. Treating patients sensitively and sensibly is preferable to obsessing about lab values.
