BMA: GPs should send over-65s to pharmacies if unable to source new flu jab

if we still get reimbursed for second-best care due to unavailability of resources for the recommended care, surely this should be a good basis/ principle for not losing income in other areas where there are not sufficient resources available to meet the recommended care standards? 'At least 6- monthly reviews for heart failure' comes to mind, and any guideline/QOF standard that needs timely access to services whose waiting lists are not under our control!
