Premises costs force 12,000-patient GP practice to hand back contract

NHS Property Services pays itself rent for Practices with only 3200 patients - 78k while a neighbouring Practice with almost 4000k patient in the vicinity with similar or even greater space is paid 38k per year. Root out corruption first from NHSP. Problem is managers from PCTs and the establishment have got comfortably ensconced in cushy jobs and have not seen a boot despite creating havoc in their previous positions. In my area, the people whose performance resulted in failure of the Trust 15 years ago are still here and now sitting as bosses of NHSE and NHS Property Services. And the Trust is still struggling - does it ever have a chance of recovery? No chance, not until you sack the sick incompetent buffoons instead of promoting them higher each time they do something wrong. Ah yes, if you have the clout, you can still get lucrative APMS Contracts for average 160-200 pounds per patients without procurement process here.
